Every year Ministry of Defence announces various vacant positions of different Posts.

Ministry of Defence (MOD) Test Pattern

Ministry of Defence (MOD) MCQs test pattern is different from all other MCQs Exams.
It includes Screening Test and MCQs questions will be asked from 10+ Subjects.

Ministry of Defence (MOD) MCQs test consisted of 100 MCQs Questions, Sometimes 200 MCQs questions from 10+ different Subjects.

Ministry of Defence (MOD) Syllabus

The syllabus of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Tests is divided into Four Sections.

1. MOD MCQs Test
2. MOD Descriptive Test
3. MOD Psychometric Test
4. MOD Interview
5. 
   

1. MOD MCQs Test

Ministry of Defence (MOD) MCQs Test consists of 100 or 200 MCQs with 0.25 Negative Marking.
MOD never announces syllabus and MOD test pattern before the test.

 
It’s my personal experience as I have tried my luck two times in the Ministry of Defence MOD Tests. And going through all these four steps mentioned above.
According to my experience candidates should prepare for the Ministry of Defence MCQs Test from CSS Past Papers.

 

2. MOD Descriptive Test

The most important and tough step to qualify is the Ministry of Defence (MOD) descriptive Papers.
MOD Descriptive Test Syllabus is divided into Three Subjects.
English Composition and Essay
Current Affairs
Pakistan Affairs
Usually, they merge all these papers into a single paper.

You will be given 3 Hours and Most importantly, YOU HAVE TO ATTEMPT ALL QUESTIONS.

Yes, we are not joking that’s why I said it is the most difficult step to qualify Ministry of Defence (MOD) Descriptive Test.

3. MOD Psychometric Exam

Another most challenging exam is MOD Psychometric Examination. Sometimes MOD Psychometric MCQs will also be part of the MOD MCQs Exam.
But, there is a complete Two to Three hour Psychometric Test will be conducted from qualified candidates.

You will be given a book containing Six or more sections. The first section of the MOD Psychometric Test is Story Writing, Second will consist of 40+ IQ MCQs.
You will be given some minutes to solve all these sections.

” MOD Psychometric Test mn apko ek book di jaegi. Samny screen py 5 seconds k lye ek picture show hogi aur apko 3-6 minutes mn us picture py story likhni hogi. Us k bad apko IQ section start krny ka bola jaega MOD IQ MCQs mn 40 questions hongy aur 15 minutes. Us k bad apko Fill in the blanks and kch words py apko sentence banany hongy. Us k bad apko 30 words k samny wo likhna hoga jo us word ko dekh k pehli cheez ap k mind m arhi ho.
Is sab sections k lye different timing hoti ha 6 minutes ya us se bhi kam”.

In the last, you will be given situational based Questions.
In Ministry of Defence Sub Inspector Paper 2019, there were Three situational based questions.

One was ” if you are a part of a business group, and you have an idea in your mind but all group members are most seniors and not listening to you. Then, How you will convince them to listen to your idea“?

4. MOD Interview

After qualifying all above mentioned MOD Test Steps with good numbers. You should not think that you are now selected.
I have successfully qualified all the above-given steps but unfortunately failed in the Ministry of Defence MOD Interview.
The interview panel will consist of 6+ members. They will ask you about your location, Father’s profession, Your bachelor Life and most important questions about the cities you have visited.

TIP: Some questions will be also asked from your Application Form, which was submitted at the time of applying for the Ministry of Defence Job.
